Montessori Methods are firmly based on the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. We are committed to the total development of the whole child, socially, emotionally, physically and culturally, preparing the child for life. We assist the child to develop a love of learning and to enjoy work, which will stay with him/her throughout their life. Our aim is to constantly promote learning through the Montessori principles and methods of teaching in an environment that is safe, structured, stimulating and flexible. We value all children as individuals and appreciate their uniqueness. We recognise that parents play a crucial role as primary educators of their children and we are therefore committed to being open, welcoming and appreciative of all parental input. We endeavour to enlighten parents on the importance of the child’s own environment outside the school as an integral part of the child’s overall development.
